Do you think that air indoors is less polluted than the air outdoors? If you answered yes, you are wrong. Studies show that the air indoors is approximately five times more polluted than the air outdoors. And so, Clairy was created. Clairy is a cleverly designed natural air purifier that is powered by a plant. It filters the pollution out of the air indoors.
What is Clairy?
Clairy is a customizable air purifier disguised as a potted plant. You only have to fill the special tank of water once, and then the plant will only get water when it needs to. You can choose the color of the pot, the type of plant, and your favorite grids. However, it is more than just a potted plant.
How does the natural air purifier work?
The smart flowerpot amplifies the natural purifying properties of the plant that is in it. It uses plants as a biofilter by directing toxic agents through the roots of a plant. This is because in the 1980’s, NASA found that certain plants are able to eliminate toxic agents through their roots. Clairy can clean approximately 80% of a heavily polluted room of 386 cubic feet in only 30 hours from its first start. And it’s all-natural.
Key features
Using the Clairy app, which is compatible with iOS and Android devices, you can:
- Analyze the real-time air pollution in your home
- Monitor air temperature and humidity
- Control Clairy’s fan
- Obtain health tips
- Interact with other smart home devices
Of course, you can purify the air in your home.
Price and timeline
You can pre-order Clairy, the smart natural purifier, on Kickstarter at a super-early-bird rate of $179, as compared to a suggested retail price of $250. The product will ship to backers in March 2017. To learn more or to pre-order, click the button below:
