This DIY candle kit is a super easy process to follow and a quick way to create the candle of your dreams! It’s a great kit for people who have made DIY candles before and for people with no candle making experience.
DIY CANDLE KIT: INCLUDES
The DIY candle kit includes everything you need except fragrance. This is where you can get creative and make any type of scented candle that you prefer. Items included in the kit are: 6 Candle Wicks, 3.5 oz of Silicone Wax, fabric flower petals and a 2 x 2 in. square candle mold. The kit can make up to two candles with the Silicone Wax, but it also includes 4 extra wicks and a reusable mold so you can make up to 6 candles total with extra Silicon Wax. This kit is great for a date night, family night or friend date!
DIY CANDLE KIT: QUICK HOW TO
- Cut flower petals, enough to layer throughout the candle
- Put the wix inside the plastic candle mold
- Slice the gel wax into smaller pieces
- Place a medium saucepan on the stove top and place the gel wax in the saucepan
- Heat the gel over low to medium heat, continually stirring the wax until it reaches a thick, syrup consistency
- At this point while the gel was is almost done, you can add in essential oils to create a scented candle. 50 drops of oil should work.
- Pour a 1 in. layer of wax in the mold, then layer flowers on top. Repeat this process until the mold is filled to the top with wax. Make sure to leave 30 seconds of wax cooling before creating another layer.
- Once filled to the top, wait and let the candle cool for about 4 hours.
- After 4 hours carefully remove the candle from the mold, light and enjoy!
