The Spontaneous Pop-Up Display (SPUD) is a high resolution collapsible 24-inch monitor that expands like an umbrella and easily connects to your devices. It’s a lightweight portable monitor that promises ultra-sharp images. It collapses to become the size and weight of a paperback book, making it perfect for people on the go. SPUD is the world’s first large portable display monitor.
How the Portable Display Monitor works
SPUD combines a projector and projector screen into an easy-to-use system. It does not need dim lighting, a wall, or a long projection distance. It uses a patented fully collapsible projection screen with arms like a rugged umbrella. The cover over the arms blocks out ambient light and helps to maximize brightness and contrast. The brightness can be controlled using a dial. The optical design helps SPUD to project high-quality images over a short distance.
SPUD is compatible with a wide range of devices over both HDMI and Wireless connections. For wireless connections, adaptors such as Chromecast, Fire TV, and Roku can be used.
